attending 9.00 a.m. Sunday Mass are given the opportunity for their own
Liturgy of the Word and instruction in the sacred scriptures which is
specifically targetted at their level of understanding. This is a
rewarding ministry which helps our young to know the Lord more deeply as
their level of intelligence progresses.
Our parish needs the
commitment of young people in this area of its life. Currently we enjoy
the help of both young girls and boys and hope that this taste of
working in the ministerial field will lead them on to renewed commitment
in adult areas of parish life in the years ahead.

Ministry of Welcome
This is a new ministry
in our parish community. Through it we hope to
make people feel more fully a part of our parish family and help them
offer themselves more generously for the furtherance and
in service of God's Kingdom.
A weekly digest of
parish news and of items that will be of interest for the community. Our
Parish Newsletter also has the desire to reach out, through the news
medium, to parishioners who do not join us regularly for Sunday Worship.
In the future we also hope to reach former parishioners around the world
through posting our newsletter each week on the Internet.
Deadline for printing each week: Friday afternoon.
Our parish piety stall provides a selection of religious books for
children and adults. We also have a selection of Devotional Items
(crucifixes, rosaries, etc) and cards for all occasions. The stall is
open after masses on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Often
particular items can be ordered.
Care of the Church
A lot of hard work goes on behind the scene to keep our church
building so clean and well maintained. Perhaps you would like to help
with this important service to the parish community?
